San Diego Parade of Lights

sd parade 2About 100,000 people each year come together to celebrate the San Diego Parade of Lights. This year there will be two nights of parades on December 11th and 18th. The parades start at 5:00 pm and for more information on the route and much more click here.

If you wish to be festive and want to include your boat in the parades, a $50 entry fee is required ($60 after Dec 1).  Prizes include cruise package onboard Star Clippers sailing ships, 5-star resorts, local hotels, and restaurant gift cards. Award ceremony will be held on January 10th at Tom Ham’s on Harbor Island. You receive two reservations for the ceremony when entered into the parade, additional admission into the awards banquet can be purchased.
