SoCalHuntington Harbour, at the north end of Huntington Beach, California is an enjoyable day trip. Though mostly a residential community, the Surfin’ Sundays Summer Concert Series is a big attraction.

The concert series, presented by the International Surfing Museum, begins June 12 and runs through Labor Day. The concerts, featuring many performers, run from 11:00 am through 5:30 pm on the beach.

The best place for visiting boaters to dock is Peter’s Landing Marina. Call 714-840-1387 or fill out the contact section on their website for more information: http://peterslandingmarina.com/contactus.html. The concert venue, Pier Plaza, next to the Huntington Beach Pier, is a short cab ride away.

Along with more than six hours of music, enjoy tasty food from vendors and enjoy other activities that fill in a fun day.
